16 year old grade mare, suited for English. Excels at jumping and dressage but can also be ridden on the trails. Sophia requires an intermediate rider with some experience as she is more go than whoa and can be emotional. She loves to jump and will eat up the cross country course. She is typically shown at the 3' level however she has jumped as high as 4'6" but will show just as nicely over crossrails. She has been shown up through Novice level eventing and has schooled Training level.... (read more) She has plenty of show miles and has competed at the Valley View Farm schooling series, Happily Ever After schooling show in Delaware, and at Heritage Farm mini trials prior to their closure. She has been high point champion for year end awards at each of those venues. She has also competed at Bravehorse and Champions Center in Springfield amongst others. She was the recipient of the Leap High award from MODA in 2021 and she also was the champion in her eventing division that year. Sophia has also been used for 4H shows. No buck, no bite. Stands in cross ties. Ties off of the trailer. Does not tolerate clipping (you're welcome to try), but will self-load on the trailer.

While she has been on several trail rides, she is not a horse I would purchase if I wanted one primarily for trail riding. Plenty of photos and videos are available, please contact me and I can send them via email or text.
