We have decided to send Storm down the road. Officially on the market. Will need a spring tune up as she is lazy lady.

Located in Ft. Pierre, SD More info in pictures. We are a bit attached but she hasn’t been ridden nearly enough in the last year and has been on the back burner as the kids have their rodeo horses and Storm just gets left behind. She has been hauled and does well but majority of her rides have been home and down the trail.... (read more)

Large mare at 15.3 and very well built for about any size rider. She is approximately 10-11 yrs old Storm enjoys a softer handed rider and spends some time to bond with her before just getting on and running down the pasture she will do just fine but is such a lover. She is definitely more whoa than go, with a heck of a rocking horse lope when you push her into it. Storm has been used for lessons over the last couple of years for beginner riders, I would say beginner rider in lessons but for an advanced beginner to an intermediate rider out on their own, as she can be a bit bossy with a timid rider. (Husband purchased her after only have ridden 3 or 4 times and they get along great he can no longer ride since and injury so she is sitting most of the time)

Does well for the farrier, clips and loads well. She will allow you to blanket her and baby her like a giant puppy. Storm is truly part of our family and we are struggling to accept she needs to find a new family, but she just isn’t getting enough ride time and deserves a home that can dedicate more time to her.
