Bentley (JC and USEA registered Daddy’s Luck) is a 2016, 17 hand OTTB gelding who raced just once before retiring sound in 2020 and being restarted in a professional program. He has a recognized record (all with a junior/amateur rider) and completed four recognized Beginner Novices and one Novice in 2022, including a win at Beginner Novice. In addition, Bentley has also been out and about at several schooling jumper shows and mini trials. He's a big horse who takes you to the fences so his best match would be someone comfortable with that kind of ride.... (read more) He was off for several months in 2023 rehabbing his feet and has just started work again in December (full vet records available to serious interest). Bentley is cleared for full work but has been on a lighter schedule due to only having an outdoor over the winter. While he does have plenty of experience he's currently a bit of a project after not having done a ton for the last year or so and would benefit from an experienced rider to bring him back to his previous level. Vet doesn't believe his career will be limited by last year's hoof rehab and he should be able to continue moving up the levels. Doesn't currently require maintenance besides his shoeing package. He does weave in a stall. Good home is most important for this one, owner loves him dearly (just too busy at college to ride competitively anymore) and would like to be able to follow him. Priced affordably as owner very motivated to move.
