This has been a hard decision to make for Walter’s owner, but we have decided to find Walter a new forever home. He's a lovely horse that I've had the pleasure to begin developing. He is a super horse and will be someone's dream! I'd like for him to find his lifetime home, not go to a resale barn.

"Walter” is a gorgeous 7-year-old gelding standing at 16.2 hands. We purchased him as an Amish cart/riding horse. His rideability and trainability are unlike much I have seen. He has a super walk, lovely trot, and powerful canter. He also lets you sit on him bareback in his stall and watch TV while he munches on hay! Oh, & he smiles on command. ? Walter is a people-pleaser and loves to have his own person. He is sweet, kind, and playful! My first priority is a loving, forever home, no sale barns, and I'll be picky about who he goes with.
Walter is schooling everything in 1st level however has not had the opportunity to compete yet. He has an unconfirmed change as well as some half-step work. He’s a super learner and takes everything in so fast & I could see this horse making it to the top of the sport someday. On the ground, he is very personable, and super in the cross ties, you can bathe him, and wash his face, and he LOVES wither scratches, snuggles, and snacks!! He is super for the vet, farrier, etc.
A competent adult amateur, young professional wanting their first top horse or jr/yr in a training program would be a super match for Walter. He has a wonderful personality and is always looking to please. A good match and home is the first priority, where someone will bond with him, and develop him up the levels. He is a special guy and will be a stellar, competitive dressage horse.
