Shutting down our horse operation: My wife of 33 years passed of cancer last year - these horses were primarily hers and were used in conjunction with our mini-ranch business in Payson, Arizona for several years. I have decided to sell/re-home the horses with tack and equipment.

Health an History:
All three of our horses have been cared for for years with regular visits from Diamond J Vet in Payson. If you need medical history we can pull one, Drew will vouch for their health/ability.... (read more) Cliff P is our farrier in Payson and sees our horses regularly. There are no known health issues with any of the horses (see other ads here).

Romeo - Welsh, Shetland, Galecino (Texas A&M tested) ~12 years
Romeo was a rescue we found when looking for a broke pony to do rides for our Payson business. He was saddle/rider broke, but spooked easily when we found him. He would not run, and couldn't make decisions on his own, but after months of training investment and work he really came around and began giving rides a year and a half ago. He is now a star attraction giving rides every weekend for eight months of the year and highly handled and socialized. He still requires attention, but is well accustomed to public events with hundreds of children-pony-riders now behind him. His ground work is still intermediate, but he listens well and knows the Clinton Anderson way (turns, sends, etc in a round pen and around the mini-ranch). No problem with feet/care and presents himself well. He does well with human females over male handlers, but doesn't mind the male handler once you're introduced. He also can place his front feet on a box with a rider on his back, and poses well for photos.

The price here reflects heavy training investment. No saddle provided, training halter and lead included.
