Dipper is a grade, 3-4 year old paint gelding with DNA on file. He has a beautiful walk, trot and canter, and is currently learning his leads. He lunges at a walk, trot and canter and has no buck, kick or bite. He rides bareback and a halter, or fully tacked up. He has toted kids around as well as goofballs who jump on in the pasture while he eats. He rides plow reined or neck rein and yields to the leg. He has ridden in spurs, or just tennis shoes, and yields to leg pressure.... (read more)
He is currently shod in a half set and is UTD on coggins, teeth, deworming and shoes.
He is extremely willing, patient and forgiving, and while he is still technically “green” I do not worry about friends or family being able to ride him around. He will excel in any discipline and with the right person, this horse will learn to do anything. He is easy to catch in the pasture and will come up for love any time he sees a person. He lives with 2 other geldings, an elderly mare, and a Shetland pony and gets along with all of them.
He has been eating alfalfa flakes or alfalfa cubes soaked, and free feed coastal.
