A beautiful dun overo registered APHA gelding, Jager stands 15.1 and is solid. He has an easygoing personality and is a barn favourite with his gentleness and style under saddle. Out on the trail, he loves to explore - walking faster away from home rather than towards. Ride him alone or in a group, he is happy to lead or follow. Bushwhack, cross rivers, enjoy the mountains - he is sure-footed and safe. He has no worries about wildlife, small dogs, or OHVs.

In the arena, he is just as much a pleasure to ride. He has all the buttons with auto and flying lead changes, rollbacks, spins, stops, leg yields, and shoulders/hindquarters in, and more. Under a western saddle, he'll ride on a loose rein if you wish, neck reining where you point. Under an english saddle, he settles into contact beautifully, polite around the jump course and very easy for any level of rider to enjoy. He has a correct, laid back jump style, and will trot into any jump if desired, making him very "ammy friendly."

You can even enjoy him bareback and bridleless, or bareback in a halter. There have been many days this winter where I don't want to be cold - Jager is always my choice to jump on for a bareback trail ride.

A pleasure to have around the barn too, Jager is easy to load, lunge, tack up, trim, and more. He has a size 1 foot, is UTD on everything, and has zero health concerns.
