If you are looking for a horse with a good temperament, a good solid foundation, and lot of miles under its feet, then you need to consider Buttercup. She is a grade buttermilk QH mare, 8 yrs old, and 14.1 hh. We have built a solid foundation underneath her using the Downunder Horsemanship (DUH) (aka Clinton Anderson method). She walks, trots, lopes, and gallops nicely. She neck reins, side-pass, and backs up.... (read more) Bombproof, no buck, bolt or rear. Great breaks and easy keeper. Balanced go and whoa. Loads on trailers easily, bathes and stands for Farrier/Vet. UTD on vaccines, Coggins, teeth floating, and regular farrier work every 6 – 8 weeks. She is working on the barrel/pole pattern, and has to potential to be a 2D/3D prospect. She also has been to mountain trails, water ponds, bridges, railroads, around cows, and out in the streets. She is well maintained, and has lot of miles under her feet. She works 6 – 7 days a week whether inside the arena or outside around the ranch. Well-trained and respectful horses are not cheap, and you get what you pay for. Videos and more pictures available upon request. We are located in Elkmont, AL.
