Meet BOURBON!

Bourbon is a 15/16 year old red roan gelding standing at 16 hands tall.... (read more) This boy is stout and built to hold anyone. He has a stupid nice handle on him and it don’t take a cowboy to press his fancy buttons! He will ride around with no bridle on and still neck rein around like a pro with just a rope around his neck! He stands still for ever until you ask him to go again. This boy will work all day long and easy to get into his lope with just a slight squeeze of your legs. However he will walk all day long as well and can be rode on a loose rein and not have to be fought with to stay at a walk. He will lope straight off from a stand still will pick up both his leads and have auto lead changes! He does side pass. He loads and unloads in a trailer with ease. Stalls or pastures well. Not buddy sour and he’s not dominant in a herd setting. Hes good with dogs, cows, calf’s, sheep and goats. Picks up his feet with ease. Does have shoes all the way around but only due to being rode on roads and rocks! He has been used to pasture rope and pull cows up on trailers for years along with working cattle in pens and stock yards. Have videos of this as well. This guy would be awesome for a young cowboy or cowgirl that’s wanting to be like mom and dad and learn how to rope or sort! He has zero buck rear or anything nasty. Very level headed. Will stand tied for hours at rodeos and won’t cause a fit or any fuss. We have used him to exercise horses off of and halter break colts off him. If you’re looking for a cool laid back ranch horse or just a fancy fancy trail horse to make all your friends jelly this is your guy!
