Whiskey is a 4 year old AQHA gelding. A beautiful buckskin with no white, 4 solid black feet, and papers to be proud of, he's ready to take in your desired direction. He could easily succeed in both the English and Western worlds. He's correct and solid at 14.1, with some growing left to do; he will level out at 14.2hh.

Easy to handle in all aspects, he's an easygoing type.... (read more) Self loads, lunges, ties, cross ties, stalls, easy to tack up, trim, catch, blanket, and more. He's been well exposed to the real world, including cattle, turkeys, dogs, kids, OHVs, etc; as well as been hauled to shows. He's quiet, with very real "kid horse" potential once he's broke.

Whiskey has a good W/T/L in both directions under a Western or English saddle. He's been trail ridden, and ridden both indoors or out. Jump on him bareback in a halter if you like. He stands for mounting and has a nice stop, a more whoa than go type. Whiskey is still fairly green so he is for experienced riders only, or a confident and handy teenager or intermediate to bring along.

Although he is bred to be a Reiner, he'll be a very solid calf horse or heel horse, cute hunter or jumper, future 4H or pony club horse. He just needs miles and finishing. This is a great chance to own a well-bred horse on a budget.
