Cash is an adorable buckskin paint gelding that stands 14.1 hands tall, he is 13 years old and one of the sweetest boys with a dog like temper! He catches anywhere even if you have a halter and lead in your hand, he was previously used in youth 4-H and play-days, barrels, poles, boot races, goat tying, he has been used a few season pasture roping, gathering cows and team sorting, he’s been on miles and miles of trails, ridden to town and in parades countless times, catches you in any pasture, stands to saddle, stands to mount from either side, rides double, or you can throw saddle bags or overnight packs on him as well.... (read more) Cash is an absolute sweetheart who loves his butt scratched, he isn’t ugly to the other horses, and is only being sold because grandkids grew up and got out of riding and his owner recently had a heart attack and a hip replacement and selling the last of their horses.

When Cash arrived at our place, he had been out to pasture over a year without being ridden and was unloaded and saddled fresh out of the trailer and I rode him right down the road, he acted as though he hadn’t sat a day! I didn’t lunge him or anything before riding him, and he never offered to do anything ugly at all and did exactly as I ask of him! This is a little horse I would personally love to buy myself for my children! When you throw a leg over him you feel good, you feel safe and comfortable and even in new environments after not being ridden in quite some he is extremely calm and unfazed by anything.! Cash has been there and done SO MUCH and would be suitable for about any level of rider so long as they know the basics, or there is a horse for him to follow as he will follow or take the lead depending on what his rider ask of him. Cash neck reigns well, works off your legs, open and close gates off him, backs beautifully and as soon as you ask him.
Cash recently had a pre-purchase exam that he passed, and I am happy to send to serious inquiries, additional vet checks are welcome at buyer's expense.
I don’t expect this guy to last long as ones like him are incredibly hard to come by these days. The time that cash has been here with my family, we have all fallen in love with him, my 6-year-old daughter (Leanna) who you’ll see in the videos especially! She and I love to ride Cash together double and I sit behind the saddle and let her steer him in the saddle.
Leanna and I have ridden cash all over town, up and down stairs, he rides quiet and calm down the busy highway, I rode him backwards beside the road and up and down the stairs as you’ll see in the videos, he enjoys water and crosses creeks and water beautifully, he will blaze through tall grass, trees, etc. He has worked several feedlots through-out Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas, been on overnight trail rides, given lessons to little ones, ZERO spook at all, No BUCK or ugly nature, been in parades and ridden in some rough terrain. He is truly experienced and still young with many good years left as he has not been abused or neglected and has always been loved and cared for well. He is a very easy keeper and would come in the house and sit on the couch with you if you’d let him!
His mane is a little short now but will grow back long and beautiful, it got rubbed off on a round bail feeder. I have many more scars and have broken or fractured every limb at least once, broken ribs, dislocations, concussions, tailbone broken multiple times, back and neck injuries that are still with me and cause me a lot of pain to this day. Starting out my parents did the best they knew to do and believed people when they claimed the horses were safe for me, we didn’t have a lot of money and they didn’t have the years of experience needed to know the difference or what to look for that truly makes a good “Safe Family Horse” My goal is ALWAYS to match the right horse or horses with the right level of rider, to ensure the horses have good forever homes and my buyers are extremely happy and are as equipped as possible with everything they and their horse needs for their forever success and happiness with their new family! I sell multiple horses to families that I pair or fit together who ride well together, get along with each other etc. I also sale saddles and the tack you’ll need that will properly fit you and your horse, if you don’t have it so you are 100% ready to go ride once you get them home! If you have found a horse for sale with someone else that you like but are unsure if it will actually be a good match for you, I will personally travel to look at and ride the horse for you after getting to know you and will let you know if it will be a good match. I want to see people enjoy good horses and if I can help prevent a bad situation by providing advice, I am happy to help! Just because someone has been riding all their life or has been selling horses, has a horse for sale they have had for a while doesn’t technically qualify them to know if that horse is truly a beginner safe or family safe type horse. As previously mentioned, it takes years to be able to identify things and can be extremely dangerous to purchase from someone who isn’t a trained professional in the specific type of horse you are looking for! It is especially important that you are experienced and know what to look for or that you purchase from someone experienced, reputable and honest because one bad horse could cost you more than you ever want to imagine. Be cautious in your search and please do not hesitate to call or text me if there is anything I can help you with. EVEN, if that means that you don’t purchase a horse from me! I mean that genuinely! Most of my customers are complete beginners and the majority are over the age of 65 and quite a few have even become close friends, a few of them even insist on being bonus grandparents to my young children, which I LOVE!
