- Good for farrier
- Nice flat walk and saddle rack
- Stands for mounting
- Side passes to mounting block on command
- Good speed control
- Beautiful stop
- He is a trail machine.... (read more) He crosses anything, and can go all day. He is very confident on the trails when riding with others.
- Easy to catch (he comes when called)
- Loves trick training. He takes treat very gently. He is very smart, and retains what he has learned.
- He has more go than whoa.
- He has no buck, kick, or bolt.
- He is healthy, and doesn’t have any maintenance issues.
- Has been kept up to date on worming, vaccinations, and hoof care.
He’s an overall very nice horse.
Worst things:
- On occasion, he can pull back a step when being tied to a trailer. I just use a tie blocker, and he’s fine.
- He can be a bit buddy sour, but is great when riding with others.
- As most gray horses do, he has some small melanomas around his tail. The vet has assured me that they are not a problem.
-His forelock was shaved, but is growing back quickly. It’s already much longer than it is in the pictures, which were taken with his silky summer coat in the fall.
