Due to zero fault of his own, we are seeking a new home for our boy Angus. Angus is a 16.1-16.2 hh gelding. He is a 14 year old Curly and Canadian Mount cross. He's been a great trail horse for my mom for the last two years, and I think he would be best suited for an intermediate rider. He is a quiet guy who thrives off a confident rider. No buck, no cribbing. He does weave, but it isn't a big deal because he doesn't spend a lot of time in a stall here.... (read more) When I stall him at a show for a few days, I give him a scoop or two of 707 Calm and it chills him out. He isn't spooky or stupid.
He was previously ridden English and did low jumps at Feel Good farms.
He does have a little maintenance for suspected cushings. He is doing great on 1.5 mg pergolide and a half scoop of thyroid L per day. It is not expensive, and we personally prefer safety over a little maintenance. Do not let that scare you!! He is a wonderful horse who really likes people. He would be a wonderful trail partner for someone or a great lesson horse!!!
