Truly something unique and special is coming to you for your consideration! Freddy is a 5-year-old solid draft cross gelding that stands @ 14.3 hands. He certainly has a heart of gold and such an easy to train mind, that you will never have a bad day working with him or being around him. He as three exceptionally smooth, comfortable gaits that are easy to ride and go in any direction you want to go, English or western it does not matter to him. And a nice solid back that makes him so much fun to ride around bareback.... (read more) He came to us and went through our program like he as done it before. Freddy has that personality no matter if you are riding or driving. He is trying to go that extra mile for you… we had him on state routes in heavy traffic and also downtown environments he handles that very well and is incredibly quiet in all circumstances. No matter if our children or adults are riding him he will be very careful going down the trail and pick his way thru the rough terrain and will cross any water, logs or ditches with ease… going up and down hills is a breeze to him as he’s very solid and can carry around about any size adult. He is usually the first to meet you at the gate and will come to stall door to meet you … Pleasing Attitude…. If you give him time off no problem, saddle him up step in the saddle and he will canter off for you with no problems… Does not need to stay in a steady program to keep him the same… We have also taken him to check fence lines and the cows, so he is very familiar with pushing cows and is very patient opening and closing gates. So, coming to you in the form of a draft horse Stout built, Quit mind, good looks, and compact size. Freddy is easy to get on and off …extremely easy for the farrier, vet and wash bay and is also UTD on shots and deworming.
