Sir was imported in utero from Ireland. I purchased his dam, and before I brought her over I bought a breeding to a stallion named Lisrivish Lad. Lisrivish Lad is in his 20's and is a direct son of The Roadsweeper (UK), who died about 25 years ago. You don't find too many grandsons of The Roadsweeper that are this young, especially in the US. Lisrivish Lad has one other colt in the US, but that one has a copy of pssm1, whereas Sir is negative. 

His dam is out of a mare I imported a few years prior to bringing her over named Lags Mare. So you have some pretty unique lines. This boy is going to grow up to be thick, and he has the best personality ever. He follows me everywhere, begging to come out of the pasture. 

I held him back for a while but I just have so many boys right now that some of them have to go. He is going to make someone such a fun stallion with some more unusual bloodlines to offer.
