“Reba” has gone through over 2 months of post track rehab and is now ready for her next adventure! Currently barefoot (shoes might be needed as training progresses). Completed ulcer treatment. Had her chiro and coggins done the 6th of January. Good for the vet and farrier.

Reba is lowest in the herd but she will stand up for herself as needed (she seems to lack “other horse emotional awareness” and tends to put herself in not smart scenarios).... (read more) This might be why she seems to have a lackluster view of turnout. She prefers her stall and can be outside for a short period and will want back in, but is also cool with staying out (she would just prefer to be in). With a different turnout heard she might change her tune. She’s out with all mares currently but I can see her being fine with a gelding as well. She’s the type to just be chill and take things as they come. She definitely would love a BFF in the horse (and human) world but my herd is just not as excepting.

Hasn’t been restarted. I’ve bridled her and she took the bit fine and let me mess with the adjustments. I worked at the farm that started her under saddle and she was an easy start then so I can’t see her being a difficult restart once she finds her person! Has done some ground work and has proven herself to be very accepting.

She’s looky while also being curious and I can easily see her tackling a cross country, or show jumping, course with enthusiasm. Her dainty and refined looks, with some polishing, would also suit her well in the dressage ring.

Had grand plans to restart and show her but my other horses do nothing but pick on and bully her and I have no other turnout options. She’s too dang sweet and kind and I hate to see her without a friend. I also think she needs to find her person and be someone’s main focus and love of their life.
