Meet Theodore, aka Teddy. This teddy bear in a horse's body is guaranteed to have you falling in love with him in no time. Teddy is an approximately 15.1h, stocky built, 15 year old grade Quarter Horse gelding who is one of the sweetest horses I've ever had the pleasure of having in my program. He loves cuddles and kisses (and cookies!!) and will be your best friend if you give him both (and especially if you give him all three!!). Teddy is a jack-of-all-trades type who would be great for a rider that wants to do a little bit of everything and have some variety in their riding life.... (read more) He will go English and Western, will pop over a small jump, and absolutely loves being out on the trails. Teddy is an extremely comfortable ride and has one of the smoothest trots I've ever ridden (honestly, it's soooooooo good, you can sit for days!!!!) He also has a very comfortable canter and easy transitions. He's great with picking up the correct lead the first time, and has one of the best canter to walk transitions I've ever seen. You just *think* walk, and you're already doing it! He definitely prefers life in the slow lane versus life in the fast lane, and would be perfectly suited to somebody who appreciates that same laid back pace. Teddy is also so much fun to take in the woods and on the trails, and will happily go out alone if that's what you want to do. He was previously owned by a young girl, and is now looking for his next best friend. He is an easy keeper (the easiest!!), is barefoot, is UTD on vaccines, dental care and has a current negative Coggins and is wonderful for the vet.Teddy is super easy to load into and out of the trailer, travels very well, and is calm in new places. He makes friends everywhere he goes (both human and horsey alike) and is always a favorite for his sweet, curious and affectionate nature. He gets along well with others and can be turned out alone or with a buddy. He is also terrific for being clipped (the gal who clipped him was so impressed with his quiet and calm nature). Teddy has proven to be a very reliable mount who isn't phased by much of anything, including my silly shenanigans (see the picture where I'm flapping my cooler like a set of wings and waving a blue flag in his face, and he could NOT have cared less!!!). I don't often have horses of this quality in this price point, so if you're interested, I'd urge you to call me ASAP. This little chestnut unicorn will sell quickly -- so don't miss out. He's going to make somebody super happy!!!
