I don't want to let her go, but my vet has advised the best thing I can do for her is move her out of central Texas.
I have a sweet, beautiful black and white 2002 APHA mare to re-home. She has a current Coggins and is current on feet and teeth care. She has developed allergies/heaves/COPD/RAO/equine asthma… whatever you want to call it, it is seasonal and vet says it will only get worse each year she is here. She was a broodmare until about 12 years old. Since then I have used her as a "company" horse and as a horse for my foster kids to ride. She is not a leader and doesn't like to go out alone, but she will follow another horse easily. She prefers to be at the back of a pack and is SLOW.
She ties, leads, loads, etc with good manners. She loves attention and treats.
