Goose is a 15.2h 6yo red roan AQHA Appendix gelding. By Wyo Blue Hayes out of a Kittens Joy mare. This guy is bred to have some speed and stamina, and that he does. However, he is a very easy going boy in the sense that he rides in a snaffle and will only go as fast or slow as your wanting. In the ring he has three comfortable and balanced gaits. He is light in the bridle and has a good whoa too. He rides english, western and bareback too. He is athletic enough to be finished in any direction, but he has been started in just about everything.... (read more) He has been started on the barrel pattern, he walks in flat footed and waits for you to tell him to run, he turns a tight and quick turn and rates himself to each barrel, he also powers home real nice and then walks out calm and flat footed. He hasn't been over run or worked too hard, so his body and mind are still sound and sane. He jumps a course with his changes and will jump all the scary fillers and such. He haws shown that he really enjoys the jumping side of things as well as going long distances, therefore I have done some hunter paces with him and he has an absolute blast with those. He rides out alone or with others and will lead or follow. He will go absolutely anywhere you point him. He will trail blaze or mosey down the road. He is traffic and dog safe and he doesn't mind wildlife. This guy has all the basics and is a clean slate to be finished your way. He is sound with no vices or maintenance. He is great in group turnout, he is used to 24/7 group turnout with free choice hay and grass. He is definitely happiest the way he is living out now. He loves to play and run in turnout too. He loads easy and ties to the trailer perfect while your getting ready. He requires no prep anywhere you go and he can sit for a week or more and you won't need to lunge him or anything, just get on and enjoy the ride with him. I have owned him for the last 5 months and he has been amazing, I am just looking to downsize my herd, that is the only reason he is for sale. He has been an outstanding guy to have around and someone else should get the chance to enjoy this handsome red roan boy as much as I have.
