"Quincy" is a 10 year old quarter horse gelding. He is the true "all-around" type for the trails, or around the ranch. Standing at 14.2 hands tall, if his cute face and heavy hind end isn’t enough for you to love, he is quite the cuddle bug on the ground as well.... (read more)

This gelding RIDES. Inside or outside of the arena, he has seen, and done it. In the arena he has a quiet demeanor, and is ready to please. He knows his leads, and has a easy, sale barn turn around with a quick stop to him. We have exposed him to all of our desensitizing tactics, brought him around our longhorn cattle, and done just about anything else people expect from one with our program.

Out on the trails this gelding is point and shoot. He has no spook or hesitation on him him. We’ve slow walked, and loped the trails both with ease. He has walked out on the slippery, fresh snow and stays sure footed the entire way through.

TRUTH: the vice in this guy is that he was NOT a fan of our yoga ball desensitizing. After a short period of time, we were able to overcome his fear, but if your looking to play equine soccer he probably isn’t in your starting lineup. Stupid? Probably, but we know somebody is going to ask, and he isn't perfect.

This guy is handy enough in the arena to be used on a working operation, or, he could continue down the trails and simply be enjoyed at home. The opportunities are endless for this geldings potential. He is up to date on his vetting, farrier, and everything in between.
