Macchiato is a solid citizen with one incredible mind to boot. He can drive, ride, be a babysitter and help you to love life all at the same.
He came into our program and went through it with flying colors. He has one of the most willing attitudes and settles right in where ever we take him. We have hauled him to several different arenas, tied him to the trailer and he is always the same horse each time. He stands quietly even if he is the only horse tied to the trailer.... (read more) We feel confident in knowing we can place anyone on his back and he will take care of them. He has three very smooth, even gaits and is a lot of fun to ride. He will hop onto any trailer, he will go into any barn. He is easy to get along with for other horses in the pasture and he is a gem in the crossties for us to work with and saddle.
He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride him. He has a good sized foot on him that will take you miles down the trail. He watches where he places his feet so he knows he is going a safe way.
He knows how to lay down, sit, and you can ride him around bareback and bridleless without any issues. We have taken him to work with cattle and he took it all in without ever causing a fuss. We have driven him in heavy traffic, quiet dirt roads and even in town. He does not get bothered by anything. He is used to all kinds of animals on the farm and on the trail. He is a horse that you can let sit for days, weeks and even months and he will always be the same horse when you get him out. Macchiatto will be sold at the Cowgirls cadillac sale in Arizona Feb 24th
