I’ve owned Jackson for 5 years and am in a tight spot and am in all getting out of the equine world. Prior to me owning him Jackson did dressage and hunter jumper eventing and did western riding on his off days. As long as I’ve had him I’ve only done some small jumps with him for fun and mostly trail rides. He’s a great confidence booster for that rider that fell off and is scared to get back on. He’s a been there done that kinda horse. With some refreshers I’m sure he could get back into more eventing and be a great show horse. I’ve had kids on him, friends that have never ridden before and even my grandma so I trust him to be a beginner friendly horse but would prefer him to go to someone with more knowledge and riding experience to ensure he has the best possible outcome of his career. Will send him with an English or western saddle whichever the buyer prefers as well as a saddle pad and if I have a girth to send with I will send one with as well.
Jackson has NO maintenance he’s out to pasture year round eats regular sweet feed and gets hay out to pasture during the winter/ cold mo the when grass isnt growing. If you’re looking to put him into eventing again it somewhere with stalls and an arena I’m sure he will be fine as that’s what he did for the first 10 years of his life till I had him for the last 5 years.
The guy I got him from was supposed to send papers but never did and since lost contact with the person.
Just got vaccines and coggins done waiting on the vet to get everything processed and then sent to me should take no more than a week.
By the time I get any viewings set up I should have paperwork handy.
