Proudly Offered for Sale. Meet Norman a 14 year old, approximately 15 hand, grade Quarter Horse gelding. This adorable gelding is as sweet as he is handsome, and is going to make a phenomenal addition to any rider's program. On the ground, Norman is kind and gentle and stands quietly to be groomed and tacked up. He loves cuddles and cookies and is keen to be around people. His affection is contagious, and he'll have you falling in love with him in no time!... (read more) Undersaddle, Norman is a simple and straightforward ride. He is more of a push ride and is happy to take things at a nice and easy pace. Although quiet, he is wonderfully responsive to his rider's aids. He has an easy trot and canter departure and an even easier downward walk/halt transition. At the trot, you can ride on a long rein and he will happily go around and around with no fuss. His canter is beyond comfortable, making him ideal for a rider who is looking to feel secure in the saddle. And he has a terrific walk/canter transition that is so much fun to ride!! Norman also loves to jump and is happy to pop over some smaller fences. He has lovely scope, but is still comfortable in his movement and easy to stay with. He also has a great natural eye and does wonderfully finding his own distance. Norman would be perfectly suited for a child or smaller adult who is looking for a horse to learn from, and who will make them feel secure in the saddle throughout the learning process while helping maintain their confidence. He'd also be a phenomenal addition to a lesson program that is looking for a horse that would suit riders of many levels.
