This is a REALLY WELL BROKE NATURALLY GAITED BLACK KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN GELDING that anyone can ride. He is a big gelding standing at 16.1 hands tall but a gentle giant. He has been a family horse and ridden by kids and novice adults. He has been in the pastures to push cattle. He is a handy gaited horse that has a nice one hand neck rein. He walks out, has a SUPER SMOOTH natural four beat gait, and he will canter when asked to do so. He is 10 years old and has lots of trail miles under his belt.... (read more) I have had him in water up over his chest and he will travel through it bravely and without hesitation. He is also traffic safe. He is a very safe horse to ride that will not go any faster than what is asked of him and he will stop on whoa and stand. He loves to trail ride and will go all day long. He has a big heart and lots of stamina. He would make an excellent mounted patrol horse with his size, braveness, and confidence. This gelding can be ridden by any level rider without any trouble. His one hand neck rein makes him a pleasure to ride without any complications. He has excellent ground manners, stands tied quietly, loads, bathes, and hauls with no complications what so ever.
