Thunder is a 7y/o, 17.2hh gray Percheron gelding who is broke to ride & drive. He is gorgeous with nice coloring & dapples, is put together correctly, & is in your pocket with the sweetest demeanor! Thunder is UTD on trim, wormer, coggins, dental, vaccines, vet check & is currently barefoot. He is broke to drive single or double & has been hooked to farm machinery. Thunder would be perfect for commercial carriage rides, weddings, events, parties, etc..... (read more) he drives perfectly & does what you ask. He's fine with being in town, at stop lights, passing traffic, going into the drive thru & stands quietly. You can easily harness & hook him. Thunder would be great for beginner drivers wanting to learn. He attracts a ton of attention & looks absolutely gorgeous for photo ops! On the ground, he is respectful, gentle, & has great manners. He will stand for the vet & farrier without stocks. Thunder is easy to catch & is one of the first ones to greet you at the gate. He's super playful, affectionate, & inquisitive. We do a lot of desensitization testing with our horses, & he was a rock star from the start! About as close to "bombproof" as you'll find. Under saddle, he will w/t/c. Canter takes a tad pushing, but we'd still consider him a good mix between whoa/go. He's been introduced to a ring & moves around it nicely. He will hop over fallen logs on the trail & some smaller jumps, but it's new to him. Thunder suits all riding levels, including beginners. On the trails, he goes where you point, isn't fussy, & is a total BLAST! He walked right into the store to visit staff, take some photos, & pick out some treats. He will walk through town strutting his stuff & isn't fazed by a single thing. He'd be great for lessons, trails, carriage rides, fox hunts, shows, mounted patrol, cart classes, etc.. He could easily further his resume as he is very willing & learns quickly! The only "vice" we can mention is that sometimes he plays with his tongue & lets it hang out with a bit in. (Teeth were checked.) It just makes him look even cuter! Thunder would love to meet you! ?
