Hennessey's dam comes from Little Americas Miniature Horse, Buda TX. Registration name is Little America Overo's Crimson and her sire is a Welsh Pony Rocky Mountain Horse Cross, he is not registered, although Hennessey can be registered. Her foot movement is an absolute joy to watch just as her dad. Henney's sire had DNA completed at Texas A&M, he is 2/3 Welsh pony and 1/3 Rocky Mountain. Henney has an incredible disposition and loves to be scratched and petted and is super eager to please. She enjoys just being overall loved on as much as you can handle. I handle all my babies from birth so that they come to want human interaction. Crimson (dam) stands at approximately 8hh and 190 lbs and she is a joy to be around as well. Hennessy is currently standing at 8hh and 210 lbs. At her current age she is at 95% of her final height.
Hennessey is halter and lead trained, loads like breeze, loves our farrier and stands patiently and readily gives her feet. She is super easy to catch and is one of the first to greet at the fence. I have videos of her training if you want to see her movement and how well she works even at her young age. I do not start any saddle training until a horse is minimum of 2 years of age, although she has had a blanket and a child's saddle on her and she stood like she has been doing it forever.
Hennessey would make a wonderful pasture mate, best friend, hunter/jumper, western, driving, or show pony. She is just that beautiful and grateful to watch.
Hennessey will have all inoculations, feet trimmed, and coggins completed prior to pickup. We can deliver her to your ranch at an extra cost.
You will get a halter and lead rope to get you started with her along with a "new horse starter bag". :)

I care so much for my horses and never want them to end up at auction for slaughter, if you find you can not care for her any longer please contact me and I will purchase her back minus your deposit. Deposit is $500 and is non-refundable after 7 calendar days, not business days.
I am a very fair business woman nothing is in absolute stone, so contact me and if you find you can't live without this wonderful little lady we can work something out.

Ringsaker Fjord and Miniature Horse Ranch and Resc

Here at Ringsaker we are a small Veteran owned horse ranch with big hearts and ideas. My husband and I are both AF vets with my husband from Desert Storm/Shield and myself from Iraqi Freedom . Here at Ringsaker we rescue and sometimes rehome the rescues. We have miniature horses and draft ponies and 6 horses that are used as therapy horses. We are a breeding ranch, though I practice selective breeding and my mares will only have 1 foal every two years to allow for mums to heal before being in foal again.... (read more) We love horses, believe that even if someone can't afford one they should still have access. Horses are such graceful and empathic creatures and just really want to love and be loved. Which is why we offer veterans and children to come and spend an hour with the horses for free.
