Really nice trail mare for sale! 6yro, 14.3hh Ellie has a great temperament, in your pocket and gets along with everyone, lives out and is an easy keeper. She had 60 days professional training as a 2.5 year old and has many many trail miles put on her. Goes anywhere, sure footed and agile, leads or follows, no vices. She walks/running walk/trots (only in the arena)/ canters, has a lovely/smooth canter. Ellie has hard feet, doesn’t need shoes or boots even on rocky terrain.... (read more) No kick, buck, rear, bolt, bite. Stands to be mounted from the ground, mounting block or random stump/log/rock along the trail. She also goes in the arena (has been used a few times for our daughter’s lessons), has done trail challenges and excels at natural trail obstacles. She trailers well, ties/cross ties, camps, not a bad word can be said about this lovely mare. She’s good for the vet and farrier, easy to handle her feet and up to date on vaccinations.

Only selling due to time restrictions, Ellie is too nice of a horse to sit. She loves getting out on the trails and riding! She has some minor maintenance, nothing that affects her riding abilities and nothing to do with lameness. Happy to provide details and a vet reference for those interested.
