Tecate was born here and was brought along slowly. She has always been a very kind and willing mare with a can do attitude that is pleasing., She competed in ranch horse classes last fall at the Colusa Show and was Reserve Champion High Point Ranch horse! She has continued to be shown selectively and was the WC Ranch Rail Horse in Winnemucca, November 2023.

With the recent changes in the APHA registration, she was able to get her regular registry papers.... (read more)

This mare has not only been ridden in the arena successfully, but she has been ridden quite a bit here along the levee and through the walnut orchards. Does not react to spooky things, ie wildlife or man made objects. Very sensible and level headed kinda horse.

She is UTD on vaccines, dental, worming and is currently wearing front shoes to keep breakage at a minimum on the rocky levee trails. She has been handled and healthy since birth here at the ranch, She has been trained and shown very successfully by Brandi Payer of Orland, CA.
