Sapphire Martini, barn name "Katie", a 2008 spayed mare up for sale due to owner leaving the country and Katie is unable to come. She is a great mare with a lot of potential to go in a lot of different directions. Best for an intermediate to experienced rider as she is quite sensitive to your seat and hands. She has jumped a little, done some dressage schooling, chased cows (which she loves), done and trained for some endurance rides and rode trails.... (read more) She loves trails and did very well as an endurance prospect. Went thru a 10 mile intro ride with flying colors and trained for a 25 mile ride which was unable to go to due to the owner being sick that weekend, no fault of this mare. She was bred in Eugene and was a green 8 year old when her current owner bought her. Has had only one owner since this and has a lot of the Saddlebred quirky personality. Very very sweet once she warms up to you. Used to small animals such as goats, chickens, mini donkeys, mules and regular sized donkeys. Great feet, has never had shoes on and it has never been an issue as she has a great amount of sole on her feet. She is used to wearing boots in rocky terrain. Still needs a little confidence in new situations, but once trust is established she will do whatever you want her to do almost to a fault. Can do a lot of different things and she will be a great addition to her new owner. Willing to negotiate price for the right home. Located in central Florida.
