"Pedro" is a 6 year old crossbred, pony gelding. By all means, maybe he is just a really, stocky, tree-trunk legged pony, but if not, we are going to say that he is a cross.

This guy is the perfect size for any rider at 14.... (read more) 1 hands, and can easily pack an adult. We have ridden him in the arena, and out on the trails. In the arena, he packs his head where should and can short lope cute circles like a big horse. He rides out in the hayfield, through our woods, and down by the (now frozen) river.

This guy has done all our desensitizing tactics, and stood there like a gentleman. He carries flags, has had ropes thrown off of him, and takes the tarp right over his eyes. He has came a long way in our hands, and continues to only get better every day.

This guy is easy to catch, and has really gotten gentle to be around. Although he is sized right, I would not say he is a beginners horse - not because he has done a wrong thing, but because he is still learning himself. He is up to date on his vetting farrier, and everything in between. He is ready for a home and a full time job!
