Rocket is a 4 1/2 year old, 8.2 hand, 300 lbs, mini paint gelding. He is the cutest thing with a super willing attitude. Rocket loves little kids, even more then he loves adults. He excels at giving pony rides and standing to be pampered. Rocket will stand to be groomed, saddled, bridled, mounted, and bathed. He's good for the vet and farrier. He is easy to catch and gets along great with everyone.... (read more) Big horses, minis, mares or geldings, chickens, dogs, cats, 4 wheelers, tractors, he is use to it all. He will go over bridges, tarps, obstacles, jumps, and ground poles. Does very well at in-hand jumping and trail course if you want a 4H mini! I was told he is broke to pull a cart but I don't have one small enough for him. I have done lots of ground driving with him and he does well. He is very quite when trailering, in a stall and when riding. I have ponied him on trail rides and he did great. Super easy keeper! Stays fat off of air and a little hay. Never founder. This boy is very easy to work with and would make a wonderful 4h pony for someone. Rocket does great online with little kids who just want to walk. Or would do great with older kids who can make him go and steer good. He has a very teachable attitude. Rocket is up to date on rabies, coggins, spring shots, deworming, and farrier work. I wouldn't say he's 100% bombproof yet as he's still young and needs more life experience, but he's well on his way there. The worst he has ever done for me is jump in place or side step if something spooks him. He will come with his own halter & lead rope, fly mask, hay net, and all his health paperwork. All Things Stables is a small, Christian, horse training barn. We specialize in training horses and ponies to be the most desensitized, all around, horses they can be. We have multiple obstacles we train our horses to do and get them use to as many things as possible. We strive to make our horses as calm and laid-back so even kids and beginners can ride them.
