Rocky is a nice gentle coming 4 years old 14.2 hands tall grade Rocky Mountain gelding. He is a beautiful chestnut with flaxen mane and tail with a blaze. He darkens in the winter and then dapples out in the summer. He has a nice flat walk and learning his gaits quickly. Rocky will even trot out into a nice easy lope. Will stop when asked, backs up, neck reins, flexes, round pens, stand to mount from the ground or mounting block, stand for grooming, tacking up, and so on.... (read more)

Rock'n a Ranch

We raise/train/buy/sell miniature and full size horses for a living. We have miniature foals for sale once weaned. And we start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm and safe to saddle to finish riding mounts. Horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale. I have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, round pen to arena for safe riding, 1/2 mile tilled track for tuning them up and smoothing them out, tank to ride threw for water crossing, cedar maze trails for working neck reins, barn sour, buddy sour issues to back to trail riding fun.
