Truffles is a 7 yr old grade Welsh Warmblood 14.3hh mare. For sale by a boarder at no fault of her own, just not what the owner needs. She has some limitations that would make her best suited as a flat only, or trail riding home with a jr rider. Happy to discuss further.

She has been used in countless leadline lessons, lungeline, and beginner WT lessons. She doesn't bat an eye with the timid or chaotic beginners. She needs a more intermediate rider at the canter, but nothing naughty.... (read more) She loads easily, and trailers well. We've taken her offsite to schooling shows, and used her off property away from other horses for kids camps. She is not spooky at all. On the trails, she is brave by herself and pokes along without a care with others. She's used to dogs, 4-wheelers, tractors, trucks, poultry and has been worked through some obstacles, ridden near traffic and water. No nasty habits, bucking, biting, rearing, bolting, etc. Owner is a timid rider and she has toted her without issue.

She has minimal maintenance, is barefoot and an easy keeper. Stands like a saint for the farrier and to be groomed/tacked. Non-mareish, but can be a bit dominant around feed times. Extremely easy to catch in the pasture, has never even walked away when trying to catch her. She leads well and is used to having kids lead her around and is cautious of her steps. Does well in a stall or pastured. Can be turned out with anyone, never causes an issue. Sells with a negative coggins, UTD on vaccines, fecals/worming, teeth floating and all other healthcare.
