Shadow is a 16 yr old grade gelding he stands a solid 16 hands tall. Shadow has been one of my personal horses to ride this past summer and we have covered lots of miles of trails. Shadow has an easy going personality and does not get in a hurry to do much. You can rope off him and he will hold live weight. I was told that he has been roped on in the arena but I have never tried it but that way he acts I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s spent some time heading steers. Shadow excels blazing the trails and it don’t matter if it’s chest deep water, through the bryer thicket, or going straight up very rocky terrain he has always been there for me and I’m writing this add so it’s safe to say I made it out alive. He has the best one hand neck rein, side passes to opens close gates, and ride out level headed. He is not barn or buddy sour. He will stand tied over night with no issues. He will also stand for a mounting block, or a picnic table, or the last resort, the tailgate on the bed of the truck.
