Take one look at Smoke and you’ll know he was made to use! This fancy grey gelding is built thick and correct. He has that big hip, stout made, quarter horse body that we can all appreciate.

Smoke is the kind of horse that has absolutely worked for a living. He has been there and done that.... (read more) He’s seen just about everything one could. Smoke worked tirelessly on ranch sorting cattle, roping, branding, dragging colts, checking fence and packing out in the mountains. He is steady and sure footed on the roughest terrain.

Smoke is one hand broke with an excellent neck rein, great breaks and smooth reverse. He has done some breakaway roping and has been out of the box on the head side. He is built to drag a steer and stout from the horn. He has a smooth lope and is quick on his feet.

In the arena Smoke will lope nice circles and pick up both leads. He is soft in the sides and will side pass with ease. Great for opening and shutting gates. Smoke will cross the tarp and push around the big jolly ball. He stands to be mounted from the ground or a block.

Out on the trail Smoke clears anything in his path, water, downfall, bridges, etc. He will lead or follow. Nothing phases him. He has been overnight camping and does well tied out or in a stall.

Good to bathe. Stands quiet for vet and farrier care - UTD. Walks right on the trailer and backs out. Located in Chatfield, MN ~ come try him today!
