Diamond is the perfect combination with all the athleticism you could ask for while also being a gentle honest mount. She has paid her dues doctoring on the ranch and has a great work ethic. Diamond is cowy and LOVES to work a cow. She has been lightly started on the head and heel side and wouldn’t take much to finish her out. She is confident in new places and unloads from the trailer ready to work. She has a great handle and will ride bridleless and bareback almost as well as she does tacked up.... (read more) Diamond is safe in all situations and nothing phases her. She isn’t spooky and will go where you point her. Diamond has a motor when asked and is running a really solid and close to automatic barrel pattern. The cruise through in the video was the first time I had ridden her and she was very point and go with tons more to give! Diamond would be phenomenal for a youth rider that needed something safe without sacrificing speed or ability. She will slow work and isn’t hot in the least. Diamond is just overall a pleasure to own. She has good feet and stands quiet for the farrier. She has clean legs and requires no maintenance. Diamond has also been to Big Bend and did great! I don’t think there is a single thing she would say no to. If you want a horse that you can pull out of the pasture and go do something different on every day of the week, this might be your dream horse!!

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!! Be sure to check out our videos on youtube as we try to show absolutely everything we can so you feel like you know them before you ever bring your new horse home. Most of our buyers purchase and ship them off of their videos so we aim to be as comprehensive as possible. Don’t ever hesitate to ask if you want to see something that isn’t shown also.
