Howdy, Poncho is a 10y/o, 14.2hh grulla & white paint gelding. He is to have a little draft in him & aside from having beautiful coloring, unique markings, & a stout build, he has the prettiest colored eyes you'll ever see! They almost glow! He comes UTD on trim, wormer, coggins, vaccines, vet check & our dental. Poncho came from out west, where he's been used on a ranch, checking fences, herding cattle, riding in the mountains, etc..... (read more) He is suitable for all riding levels from beginner to experienced as he's easy to get along with. Under saddle, he will wtc & is a good mix of whoa/go. He rides english & moves nicely around a ring, just doesn't have much past experience. Poncho will hop over jumps or fallen logs & shows potential to take it further! He is a fast learner & eager to please his rider. This guy could easily fox hunt, learn dressage, some cross country, 4h with the kiddos, lessons, etc...! On trails, he is sure footed, steady, & goes where you point. He rides into town beside traffic, & walks right into the store! On the ground, he's well mannered with a laid-back personality. He stands nicely for the vet & feet lifting. Can live in a mixed herd out to pasture but also stalls. Poncho is a great age to further his potential & the possibilities are endless! (He does have an old scar on the back left. It doesn't bother him & has been checked by the vet. The vet did flexions as well.) Poncho is already such a nice horse & would make any person or family happy! He is safe, dependable, sweet, laid back, & you always what what to expect with him! He can ride every day or sit around awhile. Poncho would also be a great Christmas gift for the kids, the wife, hubby, a lesson barn, etc..!
