Madrona loves to ride trails, she’ll lead, follow, cross creeks, ok near dogs, roads, machinery, used to neighbors quads. She's sure footed, goes where you point her, rides barefoot, Smooth trot. Stand like a stature mounting / dismounting. Ties quietly, easy on fences.
Outstanding health, sound, full dental, wormed, shots. Trims good, sprays, no buck, or bolt. Loads best with other equines, If hauling alone, thinks about things, then jumps in.... (read more) Madrona’s an easy going, easy keeper, ok on open shed to full pasture if with others. Keeps to herself alone in her own pasture too. Likes equines around her on the farm. She likes a confident, Leader mule person who's gentle.
She's not for a first time mule owner. Very affectionate, loves brushing. Interviewing for a fun, active home. I don’t ride her enough, she’d love doing more, rides slow on the farm, moves with purpose on the trail. Mule bridle/ bit go with her. Coggins, Dec 2023. Midnight Sky Farm

We have an Organic Herbal Farm in Silverton, Oregon. We have 4 parrots, Ava and Star our Mini horses keep everyone company. Lucky, our new kill pen rescue mule arrived in May. He’s gained 150 lbs. now shiny, fat and doing well. Aspen our Welsh pony/gaited cross still looks for her new home. Mel has rescued, rehabilitated, Re-homed Mules, Horses: placing them in great homes over 27 yrs. Finding the right match is important....
