Spotted Dance Ranch, in Brooksville, Florida, is pleased to offer our spectacular Gravedigger’s Buried Treasure to the very best of homes! This is a rare opportunity to purchase a horse under saddle from us since our foals typically leave the ranch as weanlings/yearlings. Treasure is 3.5 years old, and is being sold due to no fault of her own. We have so many horses to ride and train that we don’t have the time that she needs to develop her into the talented horse that she is (and we are reluctantly offering her to someone who has the time to put in her).... (read more) Even though Treasure is as calm as they come, since she is green broke, she is best suited for an experienced rider, especially one that has experience in finishing gaited horses.
This fabulous SSHBEA-registered, black and white mare by The Gravedigger (RHBAA) and out of Cash's Outlaw (SSHBEA, NSSHA, TWHBEA) is talented, gorgeous, friendly, and smart. You will not find a calmer young horse!! She was started under saddle in July and since, has been lightly ridden in the ring and on the trail regularly. She inherited her sire’s amazing rack, which will get better over time as her fitness increases. Treasure has amazing conformation and should mature to about 15 hands. Treasure was born in Feb. 2020 and raised at our ranch. She spent almost 3 years in Wisconsin and returned to the ranch this past summer. The foundation of our breeding program involves outcrossing our exceptional herd of SSHBEA-registered Spotted Saddle Horse mares with the best racking horse stallions. Combine the best bloodlines with the extensive daily handling and attention our foals receive at the ranch, and the result is a spectacular, extraordinary, well-rounded, versatile horse, such as Treasure.

Shipping Notes
If you will be using a commercial shipper, we require that they be DOT certified. We prefer that she be shipped with a companion and in a box stall. We have some shippers we have worked with in the past that we can recommend.

We can accommodate small groups, horse clubs, and special events in our main area (up to 25 horses), and we have a primitive camping area and parking area for large events. Day-use parking is also available. We are also a boutique breeder of Spotted Saddle Horses, breeding our herd of high-quality mares to only the finest stallions. Our mares and foals get the finest care possible, and our foals are handled many times a day from birth. We are currently breeding our well-bred Spotted Saddle Horse mares to the multi-world champion, speed racking stallion, The Gravedigger, and the world champion Kentucky Mountain Horse stallion, Holy Smoke. One to two foals are available for sale every year.
