He’s a 10 yo palamino qh, no maintenance, stays fat off air, w/t/l, stands still for saddling up and mounting. Stands tied. He just had teeth floated in July , also got coggins done then too. Stands still for farrier, regularly shoed every 6 weeks, only shoed on front barefoot on back. He’s been trail rode extensively since I’ve had him, he’s also been ridden by a busy road several times and it doesn’t bother him. He’s used to cows, dogs and farm equipment.... (read more) He is a thick boy and is 14.2 hands. Picks up all 4 feet , not head shy, fine with fly spray. I’ve had family members ride him that don’t ride and he took care of them. No bolt, kick, bite, rear or buck. He was ridden by an 11 year old little girl before I got him. Gets along well with other horses, low in the herd.He will ride all day long, rides in the front or back doesn’t matter, will cross anything, took him to wind creek and he got right in the lake, loves water. He loads great at the barn but when heading home he balks a little to get back in so we usually just use a lunging whip to pop the ground behind him and he loads back up, my trailer’s a straight load but he’ll unload and load all day with a slant. He’ll walk right up to you in the pasture, not spooky. There’s not a mean bone in his body, he’s a sweetheart.
