13 year old 14hh Haflinger gelding available

Located in East Hampstead NH, Frodo is a very friendly, kind, in your pocket small but sturdy haflinger. He was originally part of a driving team and is very familiar with driving. He is green but willing to riding. Very comfortable gaits. Not a mean bone in his body, low man on the totem pole, he is the horse in your back pocket looking for love and cookies.... (read more) We have used him in summer camp bareback and under saddle. We are using him in lessons for his owner to keep him going until sold. He canters, but does not know the aid yet so runs into it.
He enjoys trails with another horse – but will go out alone.
Is proving to be safe for beginner with a trainer while we have him in lessons, but needs some miles from someone relatively experienced. He was definitely the secondary / submissive horse in his driving pair.

He is up to date on spring shots including strangles and has an up to date coggins as of May of this year.

His owner needs a finished older horse / retired from lessons type.
