Millie is a 15 year old haflinger/paint cross. Around 13.2hh. She has a puppy dog personality and tons of character. She is from an Amish bred Haflinger mare that we bought already bred at a farm auction. Her mom was a great, versatile little tank as she competed in beginner novice eventing and many, many miles of trail riding, gaming, 4-h, local shows and would jump and conquer anything you put if front of her. Millie is very much like her mom, but I didn't have the time to give her all arena and traveling experience her.... (read more) I'm sure she would be great for 4-h and locals shows as well if you put the time in the ring. She doesn't have great confirmation, so I'm not sure how far she can go in show rings. She IS a great trail horse and will go solo or in a group. She can trot forever. Plays in water. She'll jump anything. I think she would be great for hunter paces as they have everything she likes to do. She has been ground driven in harness a few times with no issues. She knows basic voice commands. Can be lazy to canter on the lunge line, but otherwise she is great at that too. I've tought a few kids how to ride on her on the lunge and free in a small arena with no issues. She just loves everyone and would never intentionally hurt anyone. She's been around all types of vehicles and equipment whether on the farm or on the road. She's great with all other animals she's ever encountered. She good for the vet farrier. She's fine with gunshots and fireworks in the distance. She is NOT UTD this year. Sudden loss of income and property means she's goes as is.
