Rockstar, 12 year old gaited Tennessee Walker gelding, 15.1hh, sweet and great on the ground with anyone. Requires an intermediate rider if he has not been worked lately, gets nervous when he sees the saddle, sometimes starts pawing. He's fantastic if he's ridden regularly, beginner friendly if that is the case, but I have a condition that causes my joints to easily dislocate and I need a horse that is the same horse if I let it sit for a few months, and Rockstar needs to be worked regularly.... (read more) Not spooky, has extensive experience on trails and beaches. Stands to be mounted. Shots were done in March, coggins in March, teeth in April. No maintenance. Rides in a snaffle. Comes to you in stall or pasture unless it's dinnertime and he sees a saddle, then he goes to a corner and pretends to be invisible, so you have to go to him. Picks up all four hooves, sound and barefoot. Rides English and Western. Stands for rinsing, bathing, grooming, etc, only paws if there's a saddle around but we're working on it. Doesn't bite, kick, rear, buck or bolt.

Looking for a horse anyone can ride and can sit for months and happily go back to work. Gaited preferred, but not required if horse has a smooth jog. Recovered from a recent back injury so can't do the bouncy trot. Older is fine. Let me know if you're interested in Rockstar and have what I'm looking for.
