“Jasper” is an 8 year old cross-bred gelding. What he is crossed with, to be honest, we may not be entirely sure. I am going to guess he has at least 25% draft horse into him. He is WAY too thick boned to be a quarter horse, but once-upon-a-time, they were built just like this.... (read more) Regardless, he is one of the sweetest, easiest going in our barn.

This guy didn't know much before coming to us, and that didn't keep him from catching up with the rest of them. He rides in our indoor arena, and outside all-around our property. Tarps, ropes, cattle, skid steers, cars, bulldozers, wildlife – none of it impacts this guy. He is extremely quiet by nature, and caught onto the agenda quicker than most.

On the trail, he does it all the same. He steps over logs, down slippery wet hills, crosses rivers, and walks out down our gravel driveway. If you're looking for some size beneath you, and don't need much of a "fancy" handle, you won't find one better. He is a total sweetheart just waiting to be finished out, and it won't take much to do it.

He hauls well, clips well, and stands good for the farrier. He has been vetted, and is ready for his next home!
