Dollar is a well broke paint gelding with lots of color, that anyone can ride. He has been a family horse and ridden by everyone from grandparents to grandchildren. He rides on a loose rein with a one hand neck rein and has a good backup and stop. He is honest as the day is long with a very smooth walk, trot, and canter. He would be a perfect extra horse for your inexperienced guests or for someone learning to ride.
Dollar will let you carry a flag, will let you open and close gates off of him, he has no problem walking across water/mud, down streams, through thick brush, he'll go up/down/across deep ditches and ravines or anywhere you point him, over fallen trees, through the woods with no spook.... (read more) He is used to heavy equipment (i.e. dump trucks, semis, airbrakes, horns, lawnmowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, backhoes, etc.) we have a construction company next door and he is used to all their sights and sounds. He is a "Been there, done that" type of horse.
Dollar stands well for being saddled and bridled, bathed and groomed, while being sprayed for flies, for picking his feet, standing tied, for being mounted (from the ground or a mounting block), and for the vet/farrier. He loads and hauls very well. He is the type of horse that you can ride every day, once a week, or once a month, and he will ride the same, you do not have to warm him up.
Dollar will be a great prospect for; trail riding, ranch sorting, team penning, play days, barrels, poles, goat tying, lead line, walk-trot, drill team, parades, trail horse competition, grand entry, 4-H, FFA, a lesson horse or just a great family horse. He is kid and dog friendly, with good ground manners, and is easy to catch, and handle. He gets along with all of our other horses, mares, and gelding alike.
Dollar is a very cute bay and white gelding, that is the perfect size for easier mounting and dismounting. He has a beautiful head, a handsome face, kind eye, a strong thick neck and shoulder, a straight back, and good withers with a wide chest and hip. He is very sweet and has a great temperament and disposition. If you are looking for your first horse, a horse for a child, or an older person needing a horse they can trust, here he is!!
