Sire is Heroico is by our 2X Reserve Champion PRE Mare Celtica DD and the beautiful Imported PRE Stallion Viviano III, from Yeguada Ayala. Heroico is the sweetest calmest foal that we have ever had. He is very easy going and friendly but not a pest. He has legs a mile long and a beautiful face and kind eye. We can't wait for him to get a littld older so we can evaluate his movement. He seems very agile. We are expecting this colt to be a Halter champion and a superior breeding stallion. An excellent choice for a breeder or someone wanting to compete in halter or dressage.Viviano was imported from Spain / Yeguada Ayala. VIviano is being ridden by Spanish Olympic rider Marta Renilla. Marta says that Viviano is very willing and wants to please his rider and puts forth a lot of effort to do the things that he is asked - he is very trainable and easy to ride. This colt should be exceptional and very suited for dressage.
Dam- Locura X, Sire is Imperioso D by the mare Minerva-Mac. Imperioso D is a 16.3 hand grey stallion with a 22-cm cannon bone and has an impressive line of parents and grandparents. One of Imperioso's grandsires is Leviton (the number one ranked breeding stallion for the Military until he died) and the other is Vasallo II (number one ranked breeding stallion in LIMPRE the Spanish book of merits). Imperioso is a son of Quisas III who was imported by Denham Ranch in 1987 from the famous Yeguada Cardenas in Spain.
Minerva-MAC was also imported from the famous Yeguada Cadenas in Spain by Sherry Martin of Martin Farms. Her sire was the Calificado stallion Clasico-MAC. The stallion of Miguel Angel de Cardenas whose palmares include two gold medals in the Spanish championship of Purebred Spain (PRE), has died at 15 years of age.
