Ricky is a 19yo AQHA blue roan gelding with lots of chrome. Ricky spent most his life at a friend's ranch in NM being ridden for lessons and trails. For the past few years he's been used as a trail/ranch horse for myself and any beginner on the farm. He isn't cowy but will do what is asked. We use him to sort and move cattle but haven't tried to rope off him. Ricky is a trail horse extraordinaire nothing seems to bother him, he's the perfect horse for long trail rides through town or the hills, he's in great shape for his age and been barefoot his whole life.... (read more) Great for farrier, vet, baths, trailering, equipment noise, mixed turnout, you name it this guy is chill for it. Under saddle he has a very smooth WTC, safe stop, backs, yields hindquarters and forequarters. Selling due to upcoming cross country move.
