Any Additional Information you would like to provide: Eirias is a darling pony that we love but my daughter has outgrown him and we know it’s time for someone else to enjoy this pony as much as we have. We’ve owned him since he was 9 and my daughter rode him almost daily until she outgrew him. Eirias has a fantastic trot and walk. He will canter but this isn’t his preferred gait. He likes jumping small jumps and is always willing and eager. He won’t buck, bolt, rear or run off. He’s fun and safe. Eirias has excellent ground manners. He will never kick, bite, step on or push you around. He stands quietly to be brushed. He picks up his feet easily. He is great with the farrier and only needs barefoot trims every 6 weeks. He isn’t a huge fan of the vet but I’ve heard that’s common for ponies. He’s been pastured with mares and geldings, large and small and gets along with everyone. He doesn’t get pushed around and he doesn’t push other horses around either. He will do well with any mixed herd or any other horse. He hasn’t been consistently ridden for a couple of years so at first he may need a slower start. He lunges well and we did lunge line lessons on him with great success. An absolute beginner may not like Eirias since he isn’t lazy. He will move forward easily although I wouldn’t describe him as forward or fast pony; he’s just not slow.
