“Jake” is a super friendly and well trained 11 Year Old 14.3 Hand AQHA Gelding. He is fun to ride with lots of buttons and is gentle for the whole family! This horse is the perfect size and is just cute as can be with the friendliest disposition God ever gave a horse. Jake has a stellar resume including being used and hauled across the United States as a turnback horse at cutting shows, performed all phases of ranch work, been rode all over the trails and has competed in sortings and playday events.... (read more) He is easy and uncomplicated to ride, gets soft on the bit, moves easy off leg pressure, will sidepass and open gates, has a good stop and back, spins, has good lead departures, picks up both his leads, is smooth traveling and has fluid transitions. Jake is rock solid in our rugged Arizona terrain and gets around well riding the steeper trails, crosses water and deadfall and is calm minded about the wildlife and other oddities we encounter. He is a very easy keeper, does fine stalled, will walk right up to you in turnout, gets along with his neighbors and is an overall delight to be around with polite manners and good vibes. 100% Sound and gentle with no vices or bad habits.
