This is a lovely boy who is kind, sweet, and easy to handle. He is still a bit shy, which is normal with young foals, but warms up quickly.... (read more) He is so so sweet and loving!
His sire is a Legion of Honor earner and 2x GHRA Ambassador, as well as a GVHS Top Ten performance stallion. His dam has points in halter and performance and is a halter class winner.
This lovely boy was gelded mid January and can leave February. We geld a lot of colts and everyone always asks what is "wrong" with one when I choose to geld it. There is nothing "wrong" with him; we are strict about who we keep in tact and offer as stallion prospects, and one of our earliest criteria is that the feather on the back of the back legs must go at least 80% up the leg. His only goes about 60% up the back leg. Therefore in my eyes he is not a stallion candidate. However, this will not affect his ability to be a wonderful companion for someone. We also geld a lot of them because truthfully it is much easier for us to manage a bunch of geldings than a bunch of colts.
Like all of our foals, he comes registered and microchipped, is halter broke (catch, lead, tie, allow feet to be handled) , dewormed and trimmed, and vaccinated, plus has a health guarantee. He has been fully genetic tested for color and gypsy disease panel. He comes with a coggins certificate and a health certificate if he has to travel out of state. His coggins was pulled during his gelding appointment and he has been vaccinated for 2024.
